Oh, so I'm an idiot for not watching a tv show you like? Well I suppose you're an idiot for not watching Trashed, Lost and Strungout in Helsinki?

Tagging someone as a negative subject because they don't watch a certain show is just plain dumb.

And to think I was going to give that show a shot, but fanboys like you make me want to staty out off it.

.hack/sign was kinda neat so.. if you just got past the blaablaablaablaablaablaablaa*SNORE*blaablaablaablaablaa-part. It progresses really slow, and there's not much happening in most episodes. It gets kinda better towards the end tho

For an MMORPG-based Anime, it lacked monster killing.

People with big eyes wearing girls pants with huge bangs don't interest me. Atleast not a whole lot.

They didn't wear girl pants. Last time I checked in ancient Japan they wore pants that when standing looked like robes. I'm guessing that's what you got confused for girl pants?

Opeth what do you expect? He's of a race called "fanboy" you know they think you you should watch everything they think is cool and etc. You can't expect much from a fanboy...lol

Though I am a fan myself,I wouldn't call you stupid for not knowing that was the vagrant AI called Aura.

I actually really enjoyed the .hack//sign shows.

It was somewhat a patience show that you'd have to understand in order to really get into it. :l But in other words, I'm a fan of it.

I think most anime is pretty bad but there are a rare few that I do like. I've watched a few .Hack episodes and found it really boring. I just didnt understand what was going on and what the story was trying to tell.

Also for a cartoon about characters in an MMORPG, they sure did stand around and did nothing but talk a lot. I guess they're the "chatters" population of MMOs. Maybe if they revolved the story around the PVPers it might have been more interesting. Or maybe...just maybe even the farmers? Nah.

.Hack// has a deep story behind it. If you've read AI Buster, watched the anime, googled and studied about it,and played the games it makes alot more sense.

That's a lot of work to make sense of something simple like a television show.

For me that'd be a reason why I keep watching stuff like that. Stuff just doesn't open up by going zombiemode and oogling through the show, but there's something strange going on all the time that requires some thinking.

Serial Experiments Lain is perfect example, I can still watch it again and notice something new about the odd stuff. Similar to that are Texhnolyze, Haibane Renmei, Blame! and I'd dare to say Last Exile, there's still bits and pieces I still don't get.

I appreciate that it has a deep story behind it but like Opeth said, that's a lot of work just to understand a TV show...especially a cartoon. And to me a good story...even a deep one, should draw in you and interest you. I've watched a few episodes and just found it boring. I gave it a chance by watching a few more but just couldnt get into it. My impression was that it tried too hard to delve into the philosophical.

But dont mind me. I'm really picky about anime and I guess you could say that I hate it yet there are a few that I do like. And I think .Hack// is far better than let's say...Yugi Oh or DragonBall. I hate that crap.
